  11. So I downloaded AWeb. Ran it. Looks nice. No MUI. (Love that ClassAct popup
  12. menu.) It works like a charm on local files. Stable in ways AMosaic never
  13. was. I abused it a bit to make sure it wasn't going to take down my system.
  14. It passed the test.

  16. So I dialed into my PPP account, ran AWeb, and typed in the URL of my ISP's
  17. home page. The first part loaded okay. The banner image came up. Then,
  18. about a third of the way into the load, it slowed to a crawl. Then, it
  19. stopped altogether. I tried it several more times. Same thing. Tried some
  20. other URLs. Same thing--starts out fine, then comes to a grinding halt. I
  21. reduced the number of simultaneous network connections to one, thinking
  22. maybe my connection couldn't handle eight. Same thing.

  24. I haven't gotten it to load a single complete file over the network yet. I
  25. figure this has to be just me. What do I do?
